Objectives can range from simply reaching the end of the level, to eliminating specific individuals. Presented from a third-person perspective, the gameplay centers around completing set objectives within a series of levels. Hitman: Absolution is a stealth game in which the player assumes the role of a hitman named Agent 47. Betrayed by the Agency and hunted by the police, Agent 47 finds himself pursuing redemption in a corrupt and twisted world. Hitman: Absolution follows the Original Assassin undertaking his most personal contract to date. It is the fifth installment in the Hitman series and the sequel to 2006’s Hitman: Blood Money.
