I ran migration assistant to import all of my time machine data and thought it went fine. In a 9 hour period and 6 senior representatives later, I had to completely wipe my drive, reinstall Snow Leopard, install the updates, and install Lion again, which went fine the 2nd round. 1 Apple Care representative said that I need to take my MBP in for a new hard drive, but I knew there was nothing wrong with it since it was working beautifully on Snow Leopard. I don't remember the exact issue it stated.
